The Los Angeles claim one-base move Lekenbaker from exemption from the St. Louis Cardinals according to the team’s trading log.
To create a room on the 40-man roster, LA has given a bit to appoint right-handed pitcher Jack.

Baker has hit .235 this season in 19 appearances from the OPS to the Cardinals. The 28-year-old hits .196 over 62 triple-A appearances with the .707 OPS.
Baker showed a stronger triple-A with the .231/.345/.535 slash line and his .880 OPS last season. He added 32 home runs and 67 RBIs to MILB’s 109 games.
The move adds depth to the 40-person roster and could potentially play one base if Freddie Freeman is injured. Baker has just 73 career MLB games in his name, but he hopes to become someone who can move on to buying his playing time in LA.
As for a little bit, he has three major league innings under his belt, allowing two winning runs in the process. Over 42.2 innings of work in the minor leagues, the ERA does not have a 4.64. He threw 39 strikeouts and took 19 steps beyond the 36 appearance.
It showed almost a ton of possibilities in 2024, throwing a 2.18 ERA while outings for 18 with 29 triple-A appearances. The strikeout-to-walk ratio of 4.60 and 3.64 for Double-A and Triple-A respectively fell to just 2.05 for Triple-A this season.
