Danilo Garinari may have said something about Giannis Antetocompo, which involves rival fans.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is about to spend a turbulent summer behind Greece by making him a success in the Eurobasket tournament.
When the Milwaukee Bucks put together the 2025-26 roster, Giannis quieted down and chose to close his previous attempts to stir up speculation about his future.
Along with Greece, Giannis performed well in the warm-up game. But playing in a competitive tournament is a completely different animal.
Seeing Durbin Ham plays far differently from the Bucks, the Greek freaks put forward a performance that former NBA star Danilo Garinari made an incredible declaration.
Former NBA star Danilo Galinari spoke about Giannis Antetocomo’s performance against Italy after the 66-75 loss to Greece.
He admitted that he and Italy were doing a good job trying to protect him, but Giannis was too powerful of nature to be able to stop him.
“It’s always hard to stop him. I think we did a good job, but he’s very hard to be vigilant. We’ve been approaching a few times to tie the game and move on, but we need 40 minutes of strength and energy against him.
“Giannis is certainly the most difficult part, but they have so many experienced players, especially shooters. You can get a lot from the boundaries, so you have to do a great job inside.”
For next month or so, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be with Greece.
All the drama has led the Milwaukee Bucks to be involved this summer, but focusing on his national team now could be Giannis’ biggest concern.
If his 31-point performance is a sign of the future, this may be the best for both the Bucks and Giannis.
Building some strong momentum while playing competitive basketball before the new season will allow Antetokounmpo to thrive for the Bucks.
