Winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will miss England’s next two matches after being sent against the French XV on Saturday.
Returning to the international scene after missing the Six Nations due to a shoulder injury, Feiwaboso was sent out from the field after swinging his arms during a tackle and hitting Antoine Hasty in his head.
The 22-year-old misses the two-test series held in Argentina in July.
World Rugby said “Feiwaboso’s actions were against Law 9/13 (dangerous tackle) and were at high risk.”
Feyi-Waboso is required to complete the World Rugby coaching intervention program, also known as “Tackle School.”
He will then be available for use in the UK clash with the US on July 19th in Washington, DC.
French Rock Cameron Woki was sent off in the same game due to an illegal clear-out, but will hold his hearing on Tuesday.
