One NBA insider was in the Celtics locker room after Game 4 and the aftermath of Jason Tatum’s injury.
The Boston Celtics lost Game 4 to the New York Knicks in a tragic way. The dominant NBA champions found themselves on the brink of elimination 3-1. But that is the least of their concerns.
Jason Tatum suffers a horrific injury and Celtics fans are in a hellish scene. It appears he may have torn his Achilles apart. However, Joe Mazzulla was only able to provide a rough update on Tatum’s injuries.
Jalen Brown outlined what he and the Boston Celtics need to do in the upcoming games. However, the franchise appears to be mentally defeated.
Especially if it’s true that NBA insider Tim Bontemps said about his experience in the Celtics locker room. It was so shocking for Bontemps to see the Celtics the way he did after Game 4.

Brian Windhorst spoke about the Boston Celtics in the NBA today. He revealed what ESPN insider Tim Bontemps told him after he was in the Celtics locker room.
The franchise appears to have suffered a rather severe injury to Jason Tatum. In fact, Bontemps revealed that Celtics Locker Room has never seen it so quietly in his career as a reporter.
Windhorst explained: “Our Tim Bontemps was in the Celtics locker room after the match. He said it was the quietest locker room I’ve ever heard. They obviously know that the rest of this series is a serious suspicion.”
“I’ll point out something. They’re facing a difficult situation here. Tatum is injured and down 3-1. They were 8-2 without Jason Tatum this season. This is a great team. They’re the defending champions.”
“But picking up yourself after seeing it would be a huge challenge. Maybe you’re trying to bounce tactically, emotionally, trying to bounce off what you saw tonight.”

Jason Tatum came out and the Celtics took a difficult challenge before them and tried to come back from 3-1.
But without Tatum, the Celtics have one of the most stacked rosters in the NBA today. They weren’t at that level recently, but Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday were former All-Stars.
In Tatum’s absence, these two players will have to assume the role of the second option. On the other side, Jalen Brown must return to his form where he won the final MVP.
Brown has spoken out about how he is better than his Celtics teammates. Now it’s time for him to tell the story.
