Alexia Thainara did a quick job with “meatball” Molly McCann in her Octagon debut at UFC London.
The ground game proved to be McCann’s Achille heel in a past battle, so it didn’t take long for Thainara to defeat “meatballs” and become comfortable with Ribapudrian security guards. McCann landed some nice elbows from his back, but McCann didn’t match the Brazilian on Matt.
A minute to go to the round, Thainara transitioned to McCann’s back, tightening a naked choke in the back, forced McCann to tap out in the opening round.

Following the official announcement, McCann announced that she would officially retire from mixed martial arts and end her 12-year career. Among the octagons, “meatballs” were 7-7 and 14-8 overall.
