NBA fans were furious as the referee bored Luka Doncic and sealed the Lakers’ fate by jacking Jaw for fans to sit courtside.
In one of the most controversial victories in recent memory, OKC Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in their second straight game.
It was a very competitive game and back and forth, but you wouldn’t think you were looking at the scoreline of 120-136.
Well, that’s because early in the fourth quarter, the referee oddly gave Luca Donsic his second skill, kicking him out of the game and effectively killing the Lakers’ chances.
Before that, the Lakers actually had a lead and looked like a better team. Of course, such an exciting contest decided by the REF led to fan criticism.

To X, some fans expressed frustration with the officials over kicking out Luka Donsic. Many felt that ref tried to interact with Don Chic fans
One fan cited the infamous post by Ayesha Curry after Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.
“They’re ruining the sport,” said another frustrated neutral fan. Another Lakers fan called the intent of reference, saying, “They are definitely trying to give OKC a game.”
“Ref really took fan interactions and made it about itself,” lamented one Amgrieved Viewer. “OKC needed a ref to sell so they could win,” a fan noted, when he saw the tide turn after Donsic’s discharge.
“Apparently, if you have the money, you can buy a front seat and say what you like. But when the player talks to you, the reference drains them,” the furious patron said.
But not everyone was sympathetic. One fan said, “No, mate, Luka needs to shut up and stop whining in refs.”
If you are the Los Angeles Lakers, you have all the rights to be upset. The Lakers appeared to have scored the highest lightning in their second game.
Doncic should have been more cautious, but that’s not an excuse for Ref to pay for frivolous techniques. It ruined what was a great game from the Lakers up to that point.
Donsic was clearly talking to fans sitting on courtside. But the judge chose to make it about himself. And in doing so, they won a huge victory over the Lakers.
This victory could help the Lakers secure their third seed tonight. But instead, the Lakers must focus on their second difficult back-to-back play between Anthony Davis and the Mavericks.
