  • The first transfer window of the year will be closed due to the Club World Cup and will resume on June 16th.

  • Chelsea spends the most to date, while Bournemouth has received £50 million from Real Madrid for Dean Huyssen.

  • Liverpool replaced Trent Alexander Arnold with Jeremy Frimon, but Matthew Cunya’s move to Manchester United is the most expensive deal of the summer so far.

Summer usually only means one thing about soccer. This is the transfer window. Whether your team is looking to correct the mistakes of their previous campaign or hoping to enter a new era of success, all 20 Premier League clubs will do everything they can ahead of the 2025/26 season.

For some, the transfer period comes with distractions this year, with Chelsea and Manchester City heading to the US for FIFA’s improved Club World Cup.

The FIFA Club World Cup will be held next summer, with many teams scheduled to head to the US in July 2025.

We make sure that all teams are scrambling for trades through September, so you can track everything here.

Information as of 9am on June 11, 2025

Arsenal

Total Expense: £0

Arsenal is headed for a big summer, with Mikel Arteta’s side hoping to finish the three-year finish by finally unlocking the Premier League title.

The Striker is certainly on the list of shortlists, but for the N5 people, it could be busy for months as they deal with troops that have been destroyed by injuries.

Martin Zubimendi is reportedly close to confirming the move from Real Sociedad, but their early activities are in the form of exits, with Kieran Tierney saying goodbye when he returns to the Celtics, but Jorginho leaves as a free agent.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa suffered the disappointment of the final day as their Champions League dream ended with a defeat at Old Trafford amid several umpire controversy.

With the aim of putting that heartbreak behind them as they prepare for the Europa League, the villa is already set to welcome a new arrival in the form of Turkish youth Yasin Ozkan.

Elsewhere, backup goalkeeper Robin Olsen joins Malmo in July, so you can expect a new guy between the sticks.

Bournemouth has undoubtedly been involved in previous summer contracts and moved in search of big money when defender Dean Huysen joined Real Madrid.

It leaves Andoni Iraora an additional £50 million as it appears to take his side to Europe after the last impressive campaign.

Elsewhere, Jadon Anthony has already sealed off a permanent switch to Burnley.

Brentford missed a European spot last season, but Thomas Frank’s side continues to be impressed with his top flight. And the success of the summer of reconstruction may be the platform needed to mix with the continental elite.

The Bees were one of the most active Premier League clubs during this early transfer window, sealing off the goalkeeper swap with the West Londoner, stolen by Liverpool No. 2 Caoimhin Kelleher and traded £18 million.

The Irishman’s arrival comes when Mark Frecken comes out to take part in Bayer Leverkusen’s Eric Teng Hug.

Brentford has also permanently made a loan agreement with Fiorentina Michael Kayode, already bringing summer spending to over £30 million.

Brighton is already busy adding to the team as he is looking for improvement in his eighth place finish last season.

Sunderland playoff hero Tom Watson took part in the £10 million switch, but the deal was announced in March to sign South Korean youth Yoon Do-Young.

The Seagulls also welcome January to sign Stefanos Timas, which was loaned out in Nuremberg last year.

As is expected recently, Chelsea have already splashed cash before the summer transfer period, with the addition of the marquee being Liam Dellup.

Palmeiras winger Estevao Willian is the latest South American talent heading towards West London, and Kendry Paez of Ecuador is also 18 years old, and will be joining.

However, Jadon Sancho will not be re-joining the Blues. Chelsea paid Manchester United a penalty fee after refusing to buy. Returning to the Champions League, heading to the Club World Cup, Enzo Maresca’s side has already spent plenty of time.

It’s become a season of huge changes in the blue half of Merseyside, and it’s not just about the HR aspect of things.

Of course, 2025/26 Everton was first marked at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium, and with many players already coming out through the exit door, you can probably expect plenty of new faces on David Moyes’ side.

One familiar face has been the first arrival of the summer. Toffee welcomes Carlos Alcaraz by moving loans from Flamengo Permanent. Elsewhere, one of those who go out Ashley Young and Abdorey Ducole, Neil Maupey’s loan to Marseille will be a small and lasting.

In this early stage of the window, there is too little to be the release of Carlos Vinicius and Willian’s only official activity.

But it could point to Craven Cottage’s level of stability, and Marco Silva hopes to build on another solid campaign. By impressing some of last semester and pushing with some help in the transfer market, I was still able to see the cottages aiming for a European location in 2025/26.

The quiet summer before becoming Premier League champions can be expected to see a much busier window in Arne Slot and Liverpool.

Giorgi Mamaldaszvili’s arrival as a challenger to Allison was confirmed last year, but Trent Alexander Arnold left early to join Real Madrid at the Club World Cup for a fee of 10 million euros (£8.4 million).

Jeremie Frimpong has so far been a headline to Merseyside, with slots welcoming Bayerlebakusen’s compatriots for under £30 million as an alternative to Alexander Arnold.

And it can be argued that the Reds have sorted out their most important businesses, as they have already tied Mohamed Sarah and Virgil van Dyke into a longer deal.

After the tragic 2024/25, there are many mistakes for Reuben Amorim and Manchester United over the next few months.

Part of their mammoth task of bringing United back to the Premier League upper region is cleaning up Deadwood, with three players (Christian Eriksen, Johnny Evans and Victor Lindroff) announced the exit.

Wolves’ Matheus Cunha’s Big-Money Switch aims to integrate the new look of the 2025/26 attack. After meeting Brazil’s release clause, the Red Devils agreed it was worth more than £60 million.

Newcastle United’s return to the Champions League will continue with the presence of spending that they will see them kick before 2025/26.

Dust has barely settled down following Sunderland’s incredible comeback victory in the Championship Playoff Finals, but will need to quickly turn his attention to its first top flight campaign since 2016/17.

They had already agreed to playoff hero Tom Watson join Brighton in April.

Fresh from securing Europa League glory, Tottenham Hotspur is heading into the Champions League from the season when he finished the fourth bottom in the Premier League.

Three players have been released with goalkeepers Fraser Forster and Alfie Whiteman joining Sergio Regiron through the door at the N17 exit. Elsewhere, the Pierre Emile Hoybjeergue switch to Marseille has become permanent.

After an overwhelming season failed to match the excitement of the transfer deal last summer, the outcome is far more important to West Ham United followers than what will continue for the coming months.
