Speaking to Hoopshipe earlier this season, Yabusere reflects a significant improvement on the court after winning the title abroad.
He explained: “I’m totally different to the guy I was in Boston now. In the game, I understand the game, the pace of the game, and how fast it plays.”
“This game is completely different from when I was in Boston. You can get into a variety of situations, learn about losing and winning, what it’s like to win a championship. That experience made me a better player than I was back then.”
