Arsenal is reportedly undergoing high consultations to introduce Matteo Tognozzi to work under sports director Andrea Berta.
Fabrizio Romano argues that consultations to hire Tognozzi, who has worked as a scout for Gunventus and Bayer Leverkusen, are at a high level.
Recently, Tognozzi is also Granada’s sports director and appears to play an important role alongside Berta at Emirates Stadium.

Berta has recently replaced Edu as Arsenal director and he will certainly be in the spotlight this summer as fans are hoping for a big transfer window.
Hiring someone like Tognozzi to join him could be key for Berta.
Andrea Berta is impressed at Arsenal
As Charles Watts pointed out exclusively Catch off side This week’s column, Berta has been impressed with Arsenal so far.
Even when AFC fans are desperately waiting for a new signature, Italians are doing important work on new contracts for some key players.
Gabriel Magalges, Ethan Nuwaneri and Miles Lewis Skelly look like the main names to look at in that respect.
“Arsenal recognizes that the current deal is expected to expire at the end of the season and that the fact that sports director Andrea Berta is firmly in place on those arguments, both need to be tied down.
“Berta has made great progress in consultations with Gabriel Magalges. My understanding is that Arsenal’s new sports director is making a very good impression on everyone currently involved in contract discussions at the club.”
