Arsenal is trying to improve their offensive units at the end of the season, identifying Viktor Gyoker as a potential target.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world, and he has 44 goals for his name this season. Sports CP Star also has 11 assists.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player’s agents were in the UK earlier this month to hold discussions on potential moves. However, the report does not say whether those speeches were with gunners.
Gyoker will be on the radar of multiple clubs this summer.
GMS claims Arsenal sports director Andrea Berta is a fan of Swedish international striker, and it remains to be seen whether the gunners will be able to make the deal. He costs around 65 million euros in the summer.
Arsenal can use Viktor Gyoker
It’s no secret that Arsenal needs quality strikers in the summer. Gabriel Jesus and Kai Herberts are unable to score goals consistently and need to bring about upgrades. Arsenal can’t hope to win a major trophy without a reliable striker. Gyoker can convert them with attacks.
The 26-year-old is a world-class player worthy of competing at the highest level, and the transition to the Premier League is ideal for him. He has proven himself in Portugal and is now aiming to take the next step. Participating in a big club like Arsenal is an ideal challenge for him.
The reported asking price seemed reasonable for players of his quality, and he was able to easily justify his investment in the long run.
Meanwhile, he can aim for the move of Newcastle United star Alexander Isak, not the only striker Arsenal maintains the app.
