According to the new transfer report, Burnley is interested in bringing another England International to the club this summer with Kyle Walker.
Clarett knew that some statements would need to be signed before returning to the Premier League next month, so they delivered appropriately and completed the signing of Walker from Manchester City. The 35-year-old enjoys an incredible career, winning six league titles with Etihad, Champions League glory and speaking of happiness by sealing off his move to Burnley.
“I’m happy to be here. When I spoke to Scott and heard about his plans for next season, it was an opportunity for me to jump on. He did an amazing job here. He brought the club back into the Premier League at 100 points.
“Burnley ran an incredible campaign last season based on an incredible defensive record. I can’t wait to come in and add my experience and quality to what looks like an exciting team.”
Burnley supporters are hoping to see even more amazing names arrive at Turf Moor by the end of the summer transfer period.
Burnley is now eager to sign another English guy
According to fresh claims from Harbertag (via Sports Witness), Burnley is in a race signing to Alex Oklade Chamberlain of Besictus this summer.
The 31-year-old wants to close his current deal in Turkey, preferring to seal his return to the Premier League instead, and Leicester City is keen to snap him up. He remains on the contract for a year.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was not the strength he was in when he was younger, but suffered serious injuries at Liverpool in 2018, and he cut him off with Prime, but managed to become a more impressive signing for Burnley than in the 2025/26 season.
The former Reds man is a very experienced person for the club and country, winning the Premier League title in 2019/20, scoring seven goals for England’s 35 caps, showing that Jurgen Klopp is grateful to him together at Anfield.
“When I heard that Ox had signed a new contract with us, I am sure my feelings were the same as all Liverpool fans who were listening to the news tonight, because absolutely outstanding players and people have shown his belief and commitment to our project here.
Oxlade – Chamberlain can pose a target threat by attacking midfield areas – he can also do wide work – and the fact that he is hungry for a return to England means that he will sign the player at the points Burnley proves. If he could do that, it would feel like an easy feeling for Scott Parker.
