Anthony Edwards praised one of the Timberwolves’ most important players. This is after last year’s comments were laughed out loud.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have surprised many and lead the Los Angeles Lakers 3-1.

The Lakers looked ready to win the game. But the tragic fourth quarter on fire by Anthony Edwards changed things forever. Magic Johnson was angry to see his Lakers fall apart.

Byron Scott praised Anthony Edwards for his incredible performance against the Lakers. The Timberwolves superstar sealed Game 4 by sinking a game-winning dagger.

However, Edwards spoke after the game, praised his Timberwolves teammate whom he believed he changed the game. And that’s someone who was laughed at last year because Edwards supported him.

During the playoffs last year, Anthony Edwards caught many Flaks by comparing Jaden McDaniels to Kevin Durant.

His exact quote is, “Yeah, they got Kevin Durant, but Jaden McDaniels.”

Fans laughed at Edwards by comparing two players of different levels.

After today’s victory, Edwards doubled his comments, pointing out that McDaniels is a key player to step up when the lights are bright.

“Jayden is incredible. People are teasing me a bit like it was three years ago (sic) because of my comments I made about Jayden.”

“But I look at him. He plays incredible. All games. All year round. Ups and downs, he stays with us. He’s very coachable.”

Edwards was not the only one to praise Jaden McDaniels after his 16-point double double. Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch also praised McDaniels for his outing.

The young star has become an important cog in the Timberwolves machine. And he is considered one of their best two-way players.

McDaniels was previously known as a powerful advocate, but now he is a reliable asset on both ends of the court.

As the Timberwolves move on to the next round, it is believed he will play a major role in the team.
