Anthony Edwards gave LeBron James a flower after the LA Lakers’ defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3.
Luka Donsic was uncomfortable due to a stomach bug, and LeBron James stepped up with a big performance, earning 38 and 5-9 from the 3-point range on a 13-21 shooting from the field.
Luka Doncic scored 17 and looked out all night.
The duo were the only Laker to score in double figures, with the other starters only shooting 11-27 from the field.
The score was tied at 103, but the Minnesota Timberwolves stepped into the game from there.
After helping the team take a 2-1 lead, Edwards praised James on a big night in Game 3 for the Lakers.
Edwards praised James for his three-point shooting display with the Timberwolves in Game 3.
He looked very sharp and free to flow, putting the Lakers in the game.
Speaking about James, Edwards said: “He (LeBron James) was incredibly doing everything with his power to win them. He was certainly shooting it from Yucatan, he was crazy.”
Edwards also recalled the amazing shots James made for him during the game.
“He caught one of them in the transition and I was a bit closed so I said, ‘He’s not going to shoot this,’ he set up. He’s not going to lie.
James was injured in a regular season game against the Houston Rockets, making him the playoffs where there is a cloud of uncertainty remaining around him.
This seemed to slow him down a bit in the first two games as he lacked the efficiency of filming and didn’t look as sharp as Game 3 against the TO-Olves.
James failed to surpass 21 in the first two games, but scored 22 in the first half alone. This shows how good it looks in Game 3.
Reddick revealed that James is better and healthier and healthier after being injured against Rocket in the regular season.
He states: “He’s moving better. He appears to be in good health by that day. It’s usually a week or two injury and I believe that it’s two weeks since the Houston game, so obviously he’s moving better.”
