Antonina Shevchenko announces retirement after 4-4 runs at the UFC

Antonina Shevchenko, a veteran of eight Octagonal appearances, will not compete as a mother in the UFC. Valentina Shevchenko, sister to the UFC flyweight champion, announced her retirement from sports on Thursday.

Shevchenko, who announced the birth of her son in September 2024, was last in the UFC cage when she won the split decision via Cortney Casey in July 2022.

With a 10-4 record in the MMA, Shevchenko now hopes that her son will follow in the footsteps of the world of combat sports.
