Aprilia thanked the unconfessed heroes in their camp who played a key role in Jorge Martin’s return to MotoGP.
Martin came in 12th and 11th in the sprint, while Grand Prix came in 7th in his comeback from injury.
It was his second race weekend since he won the 2024 MotoGP title at Ducati. His year was devastated by injuries.
In his absence and fighting for an exit he could now be making a U-turn, Aprilia’s development caught his eye.
Teammate Marco Betzekki won the British Motogup in Silverstone, finishing on the podiums of Assen and Brno. He is the top non-Ducati rider in MotoGP rankings.

Lorenzo Sabadri
However, Jorge Martin’s successor Lorenzo Sabadri has also been called for his role.
Sabadoli is an Aprilia test rider who raced seven rounds in a row to repeat for an injured Martin.
He was always away from the normal racer’s pace, but only once finished in 17th place.
However, he was an important cog in the machine for developing the bike, allowing Martin to return comfortably to a much better package than he left in Qatar in April.
“I want to thank him for his energy in the first part of the season, for the work he did and for the work he did,” team boss Paolo Bonora told TNT Sports.
“Also, Lorenzo Sabadri – together they improved their bikes and Jorge was able to quickly become more comfortable.”
Aprilia has established herself as a major competition for Ducati, and there is a reason to be optimistic later in the season.
“This is our favorite track,” Bonora said in Brno.
“We’ve done some good races here in the past. Since Friday, both riders have felt good right away. Their comments were good.
“Jorge’s comments were good despite having spent a lot of time without riding a bike. He felt good right away and felt an improvement over his Qatar bike.”
Much of that improvement was steered by Sabadri’s efforts – he didn’t catch the eye on the race weekend, but he helped lay the foundations Martin could exploit.
