The first two events of the 2025 Armor Road Race were won by Paul Jordan and Mike Brown on Friday night.
Jordan won the seven-lap super twin race at Aprilia.
Brown won the Super Sports Race at Russell Racing Yamaha BPE.
Paul Jordan won the Super Twin Race at Army
Michael Sweeney was the early leader of his first race in Friday’s Armor.
However, Jordan passed him on his third lap with an approach to Armie Village and broke the class lap record by posting 100.694 miles on the fourth lap.
Jordan’s new rap record defeated Jamie Coward’s efforts a year ago.
This was the second victory at Armoy in Jordan, which won a Super Sports race in 2018.
Sweeney finished second, and Joe Ii Ii Iigier took third place after overtaking Barry Farber.
Mike Brown won the Super Sports Race at Army
Brown, who also won the Super Sports race last year, has once again dominated.
He posted 104.074 miles to his fourth Circuit for the fastest lap of the race.
This was Brown’s fifth career victory at Armai.
He closed out Michael Sweeney, second in the checkered flag in 6.4 seconds.
Paul Jordan completed the podium. Connor Cummins was fourth.
Open and legendary race qualifications
Race of Legends is an outstanding event at Armoy Road Races and will be held on Saturday.
Paul Jordan put the top spot in the open event and Race of Legends qualifying by posting 106.324 miles to Jackson Honda.
Mike Brown was the second fastest Honda machine. Connor Cummins was third in BMW.
