This season is nothing more than a domestic failure, but Arsenal is still blessed with incredible talent.
David Raya, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhas make it nearly impossible for opposing teams to score or create opportunities. Declan Rice and Thomas Party can be here, there and anywhere in the middle, and Bukayo Saka can actually do the attack all by himself.
But there is definitely the biggest problem with the team. Without the British, the attack would not be enough, and one way Mikel Arteta and Co can address this issue is to sign prolific numbers this summer.
Arsenal’s new striker pursuit
Fortunately, recent reports show that they are aiming for just that, and may be seeing the continental stars, even more of a threat to their target than Alexander Isaac.
Certainly, according to reports via offside from Portugal, Arsenal is extremely keen to sign sports CP star Victor Gyoker.
Transfer focus
Mega Money deals, controversial moves, famous flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinions across Football FanCust.
In fact, the report revealed that it is working on a deal that “requests for a formal meeting” with an agent of a player who is likely Arteta’s best friend, which can prove to be extremely beneficial in presiding other stakeholders, including Manchester United.
Swedish international has a release clause of £84 million from the contract’s €100 million, but the report will ultimately convert from £54 million to £63 million, claiming it can be sold somewhere in the €65 million region.
It may be a complicated and expensive move to get past the line, but given Gyoker’s immense scoring ability it’s worth pursuing, especially as he could potentially be a better signing than Isak.
How Gyoker compares to Isak
So, the first thing to say is, in its current state, the striker could dramatically improve Arsenal’s fortune next season, but why would Gyoker be a better signing?
Well, before we reach their performance, there is the money issue. Based on reports earlier this year, Toonstar could cost up to £150 million.
Plus, when you get into the actual output, it’s hard to understand why the original, real Sociedad star is almost three times more worth the Sports Ace.

For example, Stockholm-born “Powerhouse,” dubbed by analyst Ben Matinson, scored 40 goals and provided 10 assists in a total of 41 minutes.
In contrast, the Magpies’ main guy scored 23 goals and provided five assists in 33 appearances, totaling 2613 minutes this year, with an average of one goal involvement every 93.32 minutes, averaged for every 1.17 games.
So, although the Premier League star is still a totally great striker, he is not prolific than his compatriots, and even worse, he is much more likely to get injured.
For example, he has missed 67 club and country games since the start of his career, but the former Coventry City star has missed just five, and after a season like this, Arteta and Co might even be even more worried about signing players with a long history of injury.
Ultimately, ISAK or Gyoker will improve Arsenal, but choosing the latter might be a better decision given the weight of the goals he scored this season, his price tag, and the fact that he is far more likely to get injured.
