AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao is rumored to be on the verge of leaving the Italian club in the coming months.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, the 26-year-old Portugal international would be happy to listen to offers if a suitable project were presented to him.
Rafael Leo is in demand
Clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are monitoring him.
“Rafa loves Milan, but for many, the Premier League is the pinnacle,” the source said.
“If the right project comes along, he’s willing to listen.”
They could use more quality and depth on the flanks and the 26-year-old would be an ideal signing. The opportunity to join some of the biggest clubs in the world will be extremely exciting for players. He has the physical and technical characteristics to suit English football and could be a great addition to all three clubs.
However, his contract has a release clause of 150 million euros, and it seems highly unlikely that any club would pay him that amount. Milan will need to make reasonable demands to make the transfer happen. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
Leo will improve all three clubs
The 26-year-old is versatile enough to play at any of the front three clubs, with the Premier League clubs needing more cutting-edge technology going forward. He will add goals and creativity to the team.
The opportunity to move to England at this stage of his career would be ideal. He has demonstrated his ability in Italy and is aiming for a new challenge. He is at the peak of his career and it is the perfect time for him to move to the Premier League.
All three clubs could be attractive destinations for the attacker, and it remains to be seen what decision he will make.
