Arsenal is interested in signing sports CP striker Viktor Gyoker at the end of the season.
They will face competition with Chelsea for the 26-year-old Swedish international. According to a report from the Portuguese publication Correio Da Manha, Arsenal has already submitted an opening offer to sign the striker, and they have also agreed to personal terms with the players.
But they are worried that Chelsea can provide more money to the Portuguese club. Sporting CP Striker has a release clause of around 100 million euros, and Arsenal is offering him 75 million euros. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea will come forward with offers that are close to the release clause.
Both clubs need quality strikers, and Gyoker is an exceptional acquisition. He was undoubtedly the best striker in European football and was able to make a big difference in the final third of both clubs. The striker is also linked to Manchester United.
Arsenal requires viktor gyoker
Arsenal sometimes appears to have no teeth on offense, and the lack of clinical finishers has cost the league title in recent seasons.
Gyokeres was a major upgrade to Gabriel Jesus and he was able to help Arsenal win a major trophy next season.
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has previously welcomed him as a “top player.” If they were to sign him, they could have a star in their hands. The player has 52 goals and 12 assists in his name this season.
Chelsea are also enthusiastic about players.
Similarly, Chelsea need an upgrade from Nicholas Jackson. It will be interesting to see if they can sign Swedish International in the summer. They are currently seeking Champions League qualification and may need to finish in the top four to attract world-class players.
It would be interesting to see who will ultimately end up signing the 26-year-old striker.
