Arsenal went on to send Ipswichtown yesterday afternoon after leaving what could have been one of the club’s greatest performances of all time to European champion Real Madrid.
Given the pre-match hype in the Champions League and the enormous joy that followed, it would not have been much surprising to see gunners struggling to motivate Premier League matches.
However, Mikel Arteta has instilled a certain philosophy in his team, and they have jumped out towards the tractor boys and left Suffolk, a fitting 4-0 winner, as the likes of Mikel Merino and Leandro Trussard are seriously impressive.
But being as good as the two starters is just as important as the rest of the season, with one of the second half’s alternatives both worth quite a bit, and maybe even the new Cesc Fabregas of the Gunners.
Merino & Trosad Game vs Ipswich
Arteta removed him from yesterday’s starting lineup, moving Merino into midfield, moving to the midfield, as Thomas Part decided to miss out on Arsenal’s first match of Champions League semi-finals with Paris Saint-Germain, thanks to his brainless yellow card at the end of last week’s victory.
Market Movers
Football Fancast’s Market Movers series explores the changing landscape of the modern transfer market. How much is your club’s star player, or is it worth the biggest flop of today?
Some were naturally worried about changing the winning formula, but it’s fair to say it was a tweak that worked perfectly.
For example, the Belgian scored goals on both halves, making them even more impressive was that he had little space to pilot the box.
We weren’t the only ones who were impressed with the former Brighton & Hove Albion guy, as Standard’s Simon Collings awarded him a full-time 8/10 match rating and wrote to PSG that he “made a case” and “provided more than just a goal.”
What’s more, whether it’s the confidence he gained from playing for the top, or the simple fact that he’s now running quite a few games, the former Real Sociedad Star is incredible and earned an 8/10 rating from Collings.
His great back heels, for example, allowed Gabriel Martinelli to score the club’s 50th goal. He wasn’t on the scoresheet, but he was in the middle of the park, as exemplified by the statistics.
For example, “Duel Monster,” dubbed by Arsenal content creator Adam Keys in just 57 minutes of action, accumulated 0.48 assists figures in addition to his expected goals.

In short, both Trossard and Merino were placed in great displays yesterday, and the starters need to be nailed for the season-deciding encounter next Tuesday.
However, both players are worth much less than one of yesterday’s replacements.
Arsenal gem worth millions more than Trossard & Merino
So, first of all, how much is Merino and Torosad worth today? Now, according to the football relocation, the former is worth around 39.7 million euros, which is about 34 million pounds, while the latter is valued at 31.8 million euros, which is about 27 million euros.
Currently, they are not insignificant ratings, but surprisingly, they are far lower than Ethan Nuwaneri’s.
It may seem like a ridiculous number to someone just turned 18, but Hale Ender has already demonstrated his ability to thrive on the title-slayer side at such a young age, scoring nine goals, providing two assists in just 33 appearances, and two assists in a total of 1,294 minutes.
In fact, stepping up and playing like a veteran expert at such a young age is a abilities that make him very similar to Fabregas.
The former captain became the youngest player to represent his team in a competitive fixture (a title now held by the Enfield-born gem) when he left the bench against Rotherham United in a League Cup match in October 2003.
Over the next few years he became a regular starter for the team, starting the FA Cup final of the club’s victory against Manchester United in 2005.
In addition to breaking through in a similar way, the “unplayable” young star of the Gunners, dubbed by Jack Wilsher, was attacking midfield while he was thriving on the Wings now, so it’s true that he could eventually move into positions the Spaniards had in time.
Finally, like the former Barcelona star, the teenage phenomenon has already shown that nothing about top flight football surprises him.
Ultimately, Merino and Torosard should start against PSG, but Nwaneri looks to be one of Arsenal’s best players in the next decade or more.
