Ask Arsenal fans what part of the team needs to bolster in the summer.
Going it a step further, they ask the strikers they want to enter, and Newcastle United’s Alexander Isaac is almost certainly one of the names mentioned.
But the Swedes would be an incredible addition to Mikel Arteta’s side, but he can sign from the Magpie, not the only player that North Londoners should.
According to a report earlier this month, Gunner is once again interested in the highly talented Bruno Guimares, but as incredibly as the Brazilian, he is still worth millions more than one of Arsenal’s major stars.
Why does Arsenal want to sign Guimares?
So there are a number of reasons why Arsenal wants to spend cash on Guimaré in the summer. The first is that he can play in two positions with great standards.
For example, he has played in four positions in his career, but he spent most of his time playing as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder, appearing 181 for the former and 76 for the latter.
His positional versatility – the traits we know Arteta’s values - Brazilian International is a real threat to the offense as he scored three goals and provided eight assists in a total of 37 minutes this season.
That is, the former Lyon star averages goal involvement every 3.36 games or every 273.27 minutes, despite making up a large portion of his appearances at bases mid-year this year.
Finally, the “world class” 27-year-old called talent scout Jacek Kulig, has a bag and a bag of experience under his belt, winning 32 caps for Celenin, winning his first trophy in 70 years.
Overall, Guimarães is one of the most exciting midfielders in the Premier League, worth more than £55 million, worthy of a €65.2 million valuation from the CIES Football Observatory, but is considerably lower than one of Arsenal’s midfield stars.
Arsenal’s stars are worth millions more than Guimariae
Although plans haven’t left completely this season, Arsenal has been blessed with several top midfielders, from club captain Martin Odegard to Thomas Part, to the much-experienced Giorguinho.
However, in this example, we are talking about Declan Rice, which is worth around £91 million, or €108.3 million, which is £36 million more than Guimarães.
Now, that may seem like a lot given Brazil’s sensational ability, but Rice deserves his ratings based on the gunner’s performance, not leaning forward on his own.
For example, the former West Ham United captain has proven to be a versatile midfielder, making 48 appearances as the left fielder as the team’s six, and is brilliantly played in both roles.
Additionally, he also became a more reliable offensive outlet, earning an impressive tally of 12 goals and 18 assists in 91 appearances for North Londoners, totaling 7,380 minutes.

That is, the “world-class” British dubbed by journalist Tom Marshall-Bailey, have averaged goal involvement every 3.03 games or every 246 minutes since moving to the Emirates.
Finally, according to FBREF, he remains in the top 4% of the midfielders in Europe’s top 5 leagues, with the top 5 leagues of carry in the penalty area, top 5% of progressive carry, top 6% of assists, top 12% of blocked passes and even top 12% per 90, so the underlying figure is a star.
Eventually, signing Guimarães would definitely make Arsenal a much stronger team, but he’s running to see his rating catch up with Rice.
