Arsenal has been negotiating about signing a “exciting” player who reportedly prefers them over Premier League rival Man United, and he once agreed to join Gunner before the move finally fell apart.

Arsenal is currently in discussions to extend the deal with Thomas Party, but his contract expires on June 30th, so there is no guarantee that Ghana will agree to the new terms. You’ll also need to pay to stay in North London (ESPN).
Nuno Tavares, Fabio Vieira, Albert Roconga and Olexandre Zinchenko were also able to leave Arsenal, but uncertainty could surround Leandro Tusard’s long-term future as the Belgian international contract expires next year (BBC).
Taking all this into consideration, Berta was able to adjust a serious summer overhaul during his debut window at the club. Considering that Net will return to Bournemouth after Net’s spell, the new second-choice goalkeeper will also be reverting to the agenda.
In that respect, Arsenal’s biggest target remains Espanyol’s shot stopper Joan Garcia.
The Spaniard agreed to the personal terminology surrounding the move to the N5 last summer, according to trusted media sources like Fabrizio Romano, but the move did not come to fruition. Instead, Garcia remains at his current club and enjoys another impressive campaign between the sticks.
However, Garcia’s move is considered by many as a highly likely outcome, and previous reports from Spain show that Arsenal is still fighting to sign Garcia, who prefers to participate over Reuben Amorim’s United (sport).
Arsenal discusses signing Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia
According to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel, the development is underway in pursuit of the 23-year-old.
Arsenal is believed to be in discussion about signing Garcia, who is likely to be a researcher for David Raya next season.
Mokbel does not provide further information on how these discussions were made or what is necessary to lure the Keeper into the UK, but he is known to have an affordable release clause.
Garcia was able to leave Espanyol just £21 million, but if Arsenal is behind, his clause could rise to around £25 million. £25 million is reportedly the cost of his clause for the last 15 days of the summer window (sport), so if you want to avoid unnecessary extra spending, Berta would like to do it pretty quickly.
The young keeper has earned a horrific reputation overseas as Spain’s most promising player for that position, and football anilst Ben Matinson recently praised the Espanyol starlet.
“Uber athletic keeper with dominant cross claims standing at 6’3 high, the calm of the ball,” Garcia is an exciting keeper ready to step up,” said X’s Matinson.
“Garcia is a great keeper at asserting the cross to show true courage to protect his area. There’s a sense of ownership of the box where he confidently gathers the balls. The 16.1% cross stops.
