Arsenal recognizes that the deal at Sociedaddo faces competition from Zubimendi’s signature, which includes a 60 million euro release clause from Real Madrid. Los Blancos is expected to bolster its frontline efforts if Xabi Alonso arrives, replacing Santiago Bernabeu Dugout’s Carlo Ancelotti, but Arsenal is already in senior talks.
