Arsenal is firmly interested in signing another “dangerous” advance, despite recently signing Ebeki Eze. His clubs need to sell desperately.
Eberechi Eze after another forward gunner
The Gunners’ offensive quality is fully on display in their recent 5-0 victory over Leeds United, with Victor Gyoker scoring the club’s first two goals, but one downside was Bukayo Saka suffering a relatively long injury.
The injury isn’t as bad as initially feared, but Saka is set to miss about four weeks due to hamstring issues, and Martin Odegard also picks up a knock and joins Kai Herberts on the sidelines.
The three injury setbacks in this early stages of the season underlined how important it is for Mikel Arteta to have a deep team, with the manager saying: “We’ve already lost two weeks and we’ve lost Kai, Martin and Bukayo, so we’ll show you how well equipped this league needs to be to manage and maintain the level we want.”
While Arteta must already have enough players to deal with his absence given the recent arrival of Eze, the Spaniards need Ethan Nwaneri and Leandro Trossard at their disposal, the people of North London have now raced for another advance.
This is likely to allow him to move this summer, according to a report from X’s Diario Nervion, who is currently firmly interested in signing Sevira forward Dodi Lukebakio.
Given the difficult financial situation, the Spanish club will need to sell players this summer, and there is widespread interest in Luke Bakio, who has also been appointed as potential suitors for Everton and AC Milan.
However, the 27-year-old is reluctant to leave the La Liga side and has already turned down the move in the past, so it remains to be seen whether the deal will be possible.
“Dangerous” Luke Bakio provides depth of attack
Celebrated as “dangerous” by athletic Michael Cox, Belgian International achieved 11 goals in LaLiga and enjoyed a very impressive 2024-25 campaign, matching the number of goals they scored for Hersa Berlin the previous season.
The Brussels-born forward was also founded at the international level, where he won 26 caps for Belgium and 26 caps for Belgium in supporting Romell Lukaku in the Euro 2024 qualifying against Sweden.
That said, given the arrival of Eze and Noni Madueke this summer, there are doubts as to whether known to pocket £500,000 a week is a necessary signature, but Torosad will also remain an Arsenal player.
Therefore, Lukebakio should not be the priority target of the gunner. Instead, they need to focus on getting a deal on Jakubu Kiwior’s alternatives on the line.
