Arsenal is planning to deal with their forward line this summer as they aim to end the trophy drought in the 2025-26 season. There is a need for new strikers, but there is also a desire to deal with both wings.
Like the striker, the left seems to be a priority for Arsenal, linked to things like Nico Williams and Anthony Gordon. However, there are plans to see the other side as well, and the club boss wants to sign the player to complete Bukayosaka.
Saka’s three-month absence due to a hamstring injury proved to be extremely expensive for Arsenal, who lost ground in the Premier League and left the FA Cup and Carabao Cup during that period. And that’s why there’s a desire for the right competitors to be signed.
Arsenal adds Brian Mbeumo to its summer shortlist
According to TeamTalk, Bryan Mbeumo is one of the players who have Arsenal running the rules before his summer transfer in June. Cameroon International has recorded 18 in Brentford’s 35 Premier League appearances this season (and also provided six assists).
Naturally, there are plenty of clubs interested in signing Mbeumo this summer, with Chelsea and Mann United in line up their moves. Brentford has already stepped down for sale, but it could cost more than £50 million to reach the contract.
Arsenal may make reservations about spending much on players who may not be regular starters due to Saka’s presence. However, as long as Mbeumo is comfortable acting as a player capable of coming and going to the side, there is no doubt that he should be the player that Londoners seem to buy.
