Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing Fiorentina defender Pietro Comuzzo at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Central Defender has been highly rated in Italy and has proven to be a quality long-term investment in all three clubs.
According to TBR Football, the three Premier League clubs have enquiries with Italian defenders and it will be interesting to see if they have decided to offer an official offer to sign him.
Pietro Comuzzo could be the future star
Comuzzo is an incredible talent and he has already established himself as a key player for Fiorentina. He definitely has the quality to do well in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old could potentially develop into a trusted UK defender with proper guidance.
Clubs like Newcastle United, Brighton and Bournemouth have also protected the tabs to his development.
Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea need defenders
Arsenal needs defensive depth on the side, and the 20-year-old could be a long-term investment for them. They have done well in the past to groom talented young players and have also been able to play an important role in the development of Comuzzo.
Similarly, Manchester United will need to start planning for the future, and they will need quality alternatives to players like Harry Maguire. The Italian defenders seem to be the ideal acquisition for them. They were able to provide him with normal football and develop him into a future star.
As far as Chelsea is concerned, they are extremely vulnerable defensively and it’s no secret that they need a central defender in the summer. Wesley Fofana is suffering from injuries issues and Benoit Badiasere could be on his way out of the club. The 20-year-old defender could be a great acquisition.
He has received high praise in Europe, and Fiorentina’s manager Rafaelle Paradino recently described them as “extraordinary” players. It would be interesting to see where he ends.
