Arsenal will soon be able to call Bukayosaka’s services again, and they hope to bring him to the club for years to come.
Saka hasn’t played since suffering a hamstring injury in December, but was able to return to action when confirmed by head coach Mikel Arteta when Arsenal hosted Faram in the London Derby on Tuesday.
Saka has registered five goals and 10 assists in 16 appearances before the injury, aiming to take him from where he left off when he made a comeback, whether he’s against Fulham or not. Anyway, Arsenal is very pleased with the star attackers and they are still determined to keep it for a while.
Arsenal is preparing to offer Bukayosaka a new contract
Saka is currently under contract with Arsenal from the end of the 2026-27 season, but there have already been moves to extend the two-party agreement beyond this. As reported by the Football Insider, negotiations between the club and Saka representatives are expected to begin in a very near future, with the idea being that a lucrative contract offer will be filed.
Arsenal also hopes to agree to a new deal with Ethan Nuwaneri. If they can tie him and Saka in the coming weeks, it would be very good news for Mikel Arteta, who has relied on both players for years to come.
First and foremost, Arsenal and Saka will focus on his return to his actions. Both hope to face Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals next week. If possible, that would be a huge boost.
