Arsenal is reportedly preparing to enter into advanced consultations with Sport Lisbon striker Victor Gyoker by offering him a contract.
Gunner needs more firepower next season, and Gyoker looks like he’s ideal after another prolific season in Portugal.
Swedish International has 44 goals for the sport so far this term. There certainly is a great deal of competition in this signature this summer.
According to Just Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are also enthusiastic about Gyoker, but the most advanced interest so far appears to have come from Arsenal.
The North London giant is aggressive in pursuit of the 26-year-old and appears to be ready to offer contracts worth around £9-10 million a year until 2030.
Viktor Gyoker may be bordered near Arsenal
The signs suggest that Gyoker has been seriously emerging as Arsenal’s top target since Andrea Berta was appointed sports director.
You may risk spending a lot of money on a player who is prolific in Portugal but lacks many others in the way of top-level experience.
The Gyokeres have never played in the Premier League before, and their previous spells in England appeared in the championship against Coventry City.
Arsenal might be better off considering other options like Alexander Isak, Benjamin Sesko and Victor Osimhen, even if Gyoker’s numbers for the sport are truly impressive.
It will be interesting to see United’s gyoker under his old manager, Reuben Amorim, clearly knowing how to make the most of him.
Gyoker imagines it will also be an attractive option for Chelsea, who are in need of an upgrade from Nicolas Jackson.
Arsenal tends to be less of a big spender than their rivals, so they’ll want to get that right in the transfer market this summer.
