Liverpool will win the Premier League title and Arsenal is expected to finish second again.
Gunners have been challenging with Premier League titles in the last three seasons, but Mikel Arteta’s team has not been able to beat the league.
They were always a step behind the final Premier League champions, but this season was.
The North London Club is widely expected to strengthen its offensive options, particularly this summer.
Sport’s striker Victor Gyoker is on the radar of gunners who have shown exceptional shape this season.
But football expert and former Arsenal player Paul Mason believes there are players in the Premier League who can help gunners win by 10 points next season.
Mason believes that if Arsenal adds Newcastle striker Alexander Isaac to the team this summer, the gap could be closed as well as closed.
Speaking to Sportkida, Mason said:
“Alexander Isaac is expected to attract attention from several clubs this summer, but he feels he can play the game he is waiting for before he decides on his future.
“Newcastle could potentially be in the Champions League next season, indicating that they can already win silver products.
“Don’t forget – they’re a big club now and if they qualify for the Champions League, they’ll be an attractive project for any player.
“Isak wants to be in the Champions League next season, and that will play an important role.
“Arsenal seems to be the best move possible for him if he leaves Newcastle.
“If the gunners get him, they’ll win the league 10 points!”
Can Arsenal sign Isaac this summer?
Isak could become a transformative signature for Arsenal as it brings what Arsenal currently lacks.
They lack a deadly attacker who can prove to be prolific in front of goals.
Arsenal has a great team, but they lack cold-blooded world-class finishers, allowing them to win tight draws and consistently hit the weaker side.
Gunners have played 13 draws in the Premier League this season, which has hindered their title hopes.
As he showed in Newcastle, Isaac’s ability to create moments of sparkle in tight games could be the difference between winning second and winning it all.
Jamie Karager, former Liverpool defender and SkySports critic praised Isaac as follows:
“Alexander, I adore you. I think you’re a great player. If you have £150 million, every club will pay that to have you.”
