It’s safe to say that since taking up Arsenal’s job in December 2019, it has been a slightly bumpy ride for Mikel Arteta.
But in three Premier League title races over the past three years and the second Champions League quarterfinals that have been looking forward to in many seasons, the Spaniards have done more right than they’re wrong.
A good example of this is the relocation of the club during his tenure as Declan Rice, Martin Odegard, Gabriel Magalgez and David Raya dramatically improved their starting lineup.
However, the former captain also signed a significant share of the flop, including those who play on loan enough to allow the club to turn him away from losing him in the summer.
How Arsenal players lend it out
Before reaching the player in question, it’s worth seeing other players like the Nuno Tavares who lend their feet on loan this season.
The Portuguese star joined Lazio on an in-season contract, including a clause that appears to be exceptional this year, when certain conditions are met, his move will be permanent at around £7.6 million and while he struggles to lend to Nottingham Forest.
Overall, the “unstopped” fullback dubbed by Italian football expert James Horncastle, has made 26 appearances for the Roma side, providing nine assists, and is an excellent average of goal involvement every 2.88 games.

Another Arteta’s signature, who didn’t accomplish that with the Gunners first team, but enjoys a great campaign on loan, is Albert Sambi Lokonga.
The Belgian midfielder has appeared 18 times so far, joining Larlie Ga Giants Sevilla on an in-season loan with a £10 million option to buy in the summer, and despite dealing with a hamstring injury.
The 25-year-old is reportedly interested in Atletico Madrid signing him in a permanent deal in the summer and will be fighting Sevilla for his signature.
But the only midfielder on loan that Arsenal can sell at the end of the season isn’t the Weir-born star.

Arsenal lender that Berta has to sell
Several other players have been loaned out this season, including Reiss Nelson, Karl Hein and Markinhos, but have not played enough to boost their ratings.
Meanwhile, Fabio Vieira has started doing just that.
The Portuguese midfielder was surprised by the £34 million Arsenal in the summer of 2022. And while there was quite a bit of excitement about what he could bring to Arteta’s part, it’s fair to describe his time in the capital as a bit of a failure.
For example, the Santa Maria Da Feira-born Dynamo was able to generate 23 goals involving just 39 games in the 21/22 campaign, but accumulated an inactive tally of three goals and nine assists in 49 appearances in two full seasons in North London.
Therefore, it is becoming increasingly clear that the 45,000-pound flop a week will not make much difference towards this season, so he was sent back to Porto on loan to get him back on track.

He endured a late start at his previous club, but ever since he began to look like his old self.
In his last four league matches, the 24-year-old scored three goals and provided one assist, lending credit to Arsenal content creator Harvey Diamond’s claim that “he recently hit an incredible shape.”
But while some may be tempted to bring him back to the Emirates in the summer and give him another shot next season, it may be much smarter to try and get as much money as possible for him while he plays well.
After all, he did little in two years to suggest that he had what he needed to make it in British football, and he was one of the biggest problems playing him before.
Ultimately, Vieira is an undoubtedly talented footballer, but Arsenal will gain a recent rejuvenation this summer and will far outweigh his reinvestment of money in a surefire way.
