Arsenal appears as a “strong candidate” and signs Barcelona’s Star Rafina
According to CatedOffside, Barcelona star Rafinha has emerged as a potential target.
The Brazilian was a revelation under Hansiflik this season, earning 30 goals and 23 assists in all competitions, playing a key role in Barca on the course, beating Real Madrid for the La Liga Liga title.
Rafinha will face off on Saturday night at Copa del Rey in the Copa del Rey Finals, but Arsenal will be hiding in the background while he prepares for one of the most important games of Barca’s campaign.
The former Leeds star and his club are believed to have not been able to reach an agreement on a new contract so far, and it is believed that Rafinha will need to lower wage demands to reach a compromise on fresh terms.
This is a “strong candidate” to sign Rafinha if Catalans are forced to sell, and is now warning Berta and Co. However, the flick’s side demands a premium to sell the Superstar player. This amounts to up to £77 million.
The 28-year-old is the ideal signature for Arteta, as he can go through the middle on either side, but Barça rarely lets him leave without a serious fight.
Rafina also earns around £206,000 a week, and if he demands more, the attacker will be comfortable one of Arteta’s best earners and put even more pressure on the club’s wage bill.
