Courtesy of Bayern Insider’s Christian Falk, there was a new update on the future of Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Pargigna’s preference this summer is likely to be to stay in Bayern, even if he is likely to attract suitors after not having time to play at Allianz Arena.
Portugal International joined Bayern from Fulham last summer, but so far things have not really worked out for him.
Falk says that Parghina still wants to give Bavaria another attempt, but they can try and accept the right offer once they come in.
Arsenal and Tottenham, clubs that play in the Champions League, feel that they could fall into that category of Pargigna.
Joan Paljinya linked to either Arsenal or Tottenham with his Premier League return
Palhinha has shown his quality in the Premier League in the past, but it remains to be seen whether he makes a lot of sense as an Arsenal priority.
The Spurs are probably more realistic for Parghina, as Gunner has already signed Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard in that position this summer.
After all, it doesn’t really make sense for the 30-year-old to just fall into a similar situation at Emirates Stadium.
However, Tottenham appears to need reinforcements in the middle, so you will certainly be seduced by proven talent like Parshinya.
Straws in conflict with Bayern
Falk’s report also reveals that Parchña is currently in conflict with Bavaria about his future.
The Bayern Giants decision makers are clearly hoping to get cash from players if possible, and it will be interesting to see who is supposed to win this fight.
Parchña will ensure he accepts that he doesn’t want from Bayern and that it’s better to try and get his career back on track somewhere else.
