Returning to Premier League duties on Sunday afternoon, Arsenal welcome Crystal Palace to north London.

The Gunners will be confident of building on their sensational form after setting up a new European marker at the start of the week and starting this weekend’s game chasing the top of the Premier League table.

Palace may have been receiving a series of well-deserved accolades over the past 12 months, but the Eagles will be looking for some of their recent momentum and will be gearing up for a monumental challenge when they travel across the capital here.

In an afternoon where Mikel Arteta’s side are looking to widen their buffer against the chasing pack, we take a look at some of the most appealing bet builder tips for Arsenal vs Crystal Palace.

The Gunners are about to make a new statement.

Arsenal are riding a wave of momentum after another dominant performance, including a frenetic 4-0 home victory against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid earlier in the week.

The Gunners, who sit top of the Premier League when they open the showdown in north London on Sunday, will find the atmosphere in their camp red hot.

With many pegging Arteta’s side as favorites to win their first Premier League title since 2004, Arsenal have won each of their last six consecutive appearances in all competitions.

Sunday’s hosts have also earned a real reputation for defensive solidity, with a 1-0 win away at local rivals Fulham marking their return from the October international break.

Arsenal have not scored for a month and have conceded just one goal from open play so far this season.

Bet Builder Tip: Arsenal Win @ 4/9 and 1x bet

Palace looking for recent momentum

Crystal Palace, who won the iconic FA Cup for the first time in May and are in the midst of a high-profile adventure in Europe, have only continued to smash a string of records over the past 12 months.

But it’s no exaggeration to say that Oliver Glasner’s side will be looking for some recent momentum, despite making their comeback in a 3-3 stalemate at home to Bournemouth last weekend.

After suffering a major upset in the Europa Conference League earlier in the week with an infamous 1-0 loss to Cypriot side AEK Larnaca, Sunday’s guests have picked up just one point from their last three games in all competitions.

The former Eintracht Frankfurt manager will also be left with a defensive headache after losing 2-1 away to Everton during the two-week interval in October.

In fact, Palace have only kept one clean sheet in their last seven appearances.

Bet Builder Tip: Mark Gehi has 19/20 with over 0.5 fouls BetUS

Focus on Martinelli

Summer big-money Victor Gökeres may have drawn the line under his unfortunate nine-game streak for club and country earlier in the week as the Swedish marksman scored twice in the Champions League, but it may be worth keeping an eye on Tuesday’s other scorer.

There may have been a lot of speculation over the summer over Gabriel Martinelli’s long-term future in north London, but the 24-year-old has become a key part of Arteta’s plans.

The Brazil international has embarked on an eventful run in Europe, scoring in midweek against Atlético, and has now scored in each of the opening three Champions League games.

Similarly, Martinelli, who appeared on the scoresheet against Brazil during the October international break, has found the back of the net in each of his last three consecutive starts.

The 24-year-old will be confident of building on his recent form against a Palace defense that has shown some worrying issues of late.

Betbuilder Tip: Gabriel Martinelli has over 0.5 shots on target with 4/5 at Dachbet
