Arsenal is linked to the moves of Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz, who was able to make the move for him this summer.
According to a report by Fichajes, Arsenal has identified him as a priority target this summer, with manager Mikel Arteta expecting to add a competitive edge to the side.
Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping an eye on him.
Arsenal can use Brahim Diaz
Arsenal has not been able to spin a player like Gabriel Martinelli this season due to lack of team depth. Diaz’s arrival certainly solves that problem. Additionally, Martinelli has been overwhelmed this season, with increasing competition for locations helping improve the team.
Meanwhile, Morocco struggles with regular game time in Real Madrid, and he needs to join clubs that he plays more frequently. Moving to Arsenal might be ideal.
Arteta has known the players since his days at Manchester City, and the opportunity to work with the Spanish manager may be exciting for Diaz.
He has proven himself in Italy and Spain. However, he had limited opportunities. He tries to play regularly, and Arsenal may be able to offer him the opportunity. He has been praised as “fantastic” by AC Milan legend Alessandro Nesta, especially in tight spaces.
Real Madrid may be sold at a reasonable price
It is fair to assume that Real Madrid can sanction his departure at a reasonable price. He is not an essential asset to them, and if a favorable proposal is presented, they may want to sell him.
The 25-year-old has six goals and seven assists in his name this season. He can be manipulated with either the flanks and the attacking midfielder. His versatility is a bonus for Arsenal if they get the deal done.
Signing quality attackers must be an Arsenal’s priority as they head towards the summer transfer window. They lack the quality and depth of their offensive units this season, and are sacrificing their league title.
Signing a dynamic attacker like Diaz and a trusted center in the summer can make a big difference and help you win major trophies.
