In the Premier League, Arsenal is tasked with lamenting the lack of fit for center forwards.
The truth is, even before Kai Herberts suffered a season-ending hamstring injury, they needed more coverage in the attacking area.
Just a few weeks ago, Gabriel Jesus was given his own brutal blow, meaning it’s unlikely that he’ll see him play again in 2025.
It did not promote life to the recruitment team at Emirates Stadium and has since started paying prices.
Still, Mikel Merino has taken great shape since becoming the club’s main No. 9, scoring six goals on 10 outings as a striker. Certainly not a bad number.
But the Spaniard, despite his incredible finish against Real Madrid, is not a long-term answer.
Hope to sign Arsenal’s new striker
Andrea Berta is currently working for several weeks, and his main goal around the summer transfer period must be to bolster the club’s offense.
We promise to have an exciting summer in Colny. Gunners need not only new forwards, but wingers, backup goalkeepers, and even midfielders. Martin Zubimendi is reportedly approaching the deal.
So who will be the new shiny striker? That’s everyone’s lips problem with N5.
David Ornstein confirmed a few weeks ago that CP Sensation Victor Gyoker is one of his main targets, but Benjamin Sesco is also working.
Transfer focus
Mega Money deals, controversial moves, famous flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinions across Football FanCust.
The fuss of reporting led the Slovenians to move last summer, but he ended up writing new terms with German club RB Leipzig.
It appears that within a year and his departure from the Bundesliga is far more likely. In fact, according to TeamTalk, Arsenal continues to remain “close close” with the 21-year-old and is taking new steps to ensure his signature.
The report notes that the London Club has “direct contact” with the players’ camp and has discussed the feeling after the meeting.
SESKO’s contract expires in 2029 – currently includes a release clause of around 70 million euros (£60 million).
How Sesko compares to Haaland and Isak
A few years ago, Arsenal was monitoring Alexander Isaac’s progress. The Swedes were in the real Sociedad at the time and were not yet truly ramp-stretched scorers.
The year was 2022, and the ISAK agreement in Spain also included a release clause.
Sadly, the gunners deemed it too expensive and since then he signed Newcastle for £63 million, becoming one of the main rights in the Premier League, scoring 20 goals this term, earning only Ehring Haaland and Mosala on the top flight.
Therefore, Arsenal must learn their lessons. If you miss Sesco now, you’ll be able to see price tags of over £100 million in years.
Slovenia International may not be a completed article yet, but he owns a unique profile and Berta must buy it now.
Certainly, if Arteta can put out a song from Merino on the club’s forward line, he’s a midfielder in trade, so think about what he can do with a real striker.

Sesko, known as “The New Erling Haaland” by Scout Jacek Kulig, has discovered 19 nets in 40 games this season, and appears to have won seasons every season at the age of 21.
Like Haaland, he is a tall center forward. Norway stands at 6 feet 4, while Arsenal’s target is almost high at 6 feet 5.
There are many things that they can do to pair. They are not only physical, but their long running course and pace, which makes them a complete nightmare of the defensive line.
Sesko didn’t get much time and space in the Premier League. As Harn and knows well now, if you rate the ball’s hit, their game marries well.
Look at the Thunderbolt under Starman in Leipzig. It’s a beauty thing, and honestly, something that the Arsenal player on the current team can’t.
Perhaps the biggest difference is that Sesko is actually on the right foot, but that’s not a bad thing, especially if you consider Havertz to be on the left foot. In other words, Berta is about adding diversity to the attack.
Someone like Gyoker, who scored 44 goals this season and a proven Premier League striker, Isak, are amazing signatures, but perhaps the best thing to do is get out and get someone who’s not polished, but has the potential to be an elite.
