Arsenal is reportedly able to begin moving the summer moving windows of tonight’s Champions League opponent Paris Saint-Germain.
Regardless of the outcome of this evening, a busy summer appears to be an absolute must for gunners after a challenging campaign where you can see a surprising drop out of your Champions League location at the Premier League table.
New sports director Andrea Berta has been brought in to help Mikel Arteta strengthen his team. PSG’s Lee Kang Ying appears to be a player on the club’s radar.
That said, according to the Sun, he is expected to persuade Arteta to make space for Korea International with his team.
Arsenal could do it deeper in the midfield division while attacking, showing some potential, even if Lee could not play regularly due to PSG.
Lee Kang-In is now available by PSG
According to a Sun report, Lee is expected to become one of the players available in the market for this PSG team this summer.
The 24-year-old manages 44 appearances in all competitions this season, but is not an automatic starter for a team studded with Luis Enrique’s star-studded star.
That might mean there’s an opportunity there for Arsenal, but some fans may wonder if the club needs to be a little higher.
If Lee wasn’t enough for a club like PSG, it’s probably hard to imagine him really improving the aspects of Arteta enough to fill Liverpool’s gap in next year’s title race.
Arsenal is preparing for the second round of important PSG
It will be interesting to see if Lee plays any role tonight as Parc de Princess PSG host Arsenal.
The Gunners will chase 1-0 from a surprise first leg defeat at Emirates Stadium, but this tie certainly isn’t over.
Arsenal has been at their best recently and hasn’t lost 2-1 to Bournemouth over the weekend, but they know their season will be on hiatus in tonight’s match, indicating they can step up to the biggest match under Arteta’s management.
