Many Arsenal fans are currently absolutely smoked on social media amidst the story of gunners signing Noni Madueke and potentially losing Ethan Nuwaneri to Chelsea.
The North London giant is in talks to sign Maduce and is even preparing to officially bid for Chelsea for England International.
However, there are also stories that Madueke’s arrival could be bad news for Nuwaneri’s Arsenal future.
The 18-year-old, considered a truly mysterious and major fan favorite at Emirates Stadium, has yet to sign a new contract and will become a free agent in a year.
Catch off side Chelsea understands he is interested in signing Nuwaneri, who is eager to have peace of mind from Arsenal about his playing time.
Needless to say, bringing in a Maduce would probably not be much of availing Nwaneri’s concerns.
Arsenal fans are furious at Arteta via the saga of Madueke and Nuwaneri
Social media is currently full of angered fools about this situation. Because they don’t want to see elite homemade players like Nuwaneri for Madueke, which wasn’t even so impressive to Chelsea.
One fan said that swapping places for these players might be the last straw in terms of his faith in Arteta.
Meanwhile, another even described the Spanish tactician as “antichrist”…
Arsenal is sure to recognize the reactions that this news is appearing on social media, so it will be interesting to see how it will affect these potential deals.
I understand that he doesn’t want to lose Nuwaneri after the immeasurable possibilities he was shown, but all of this probably feels a bit harsh on Madueke!
How does Maduce compare to the Arsenal Wingers?
While you can see how Maduke and Nwaneri are compared, see below.
Nwaneri’s statistics are impressive considering his age, but it is clear that Maduke also has many excellent qualities that can at least make him a useful team player.
The 23-year-old probably won’t be coming in to kick Saka out of the starting line anytime soon, but Arsenal should be able to spin and bring in the cover if he faces as many injuries as he did in 2024/25.
