Benjamin Sesco has linked his move to the Premier League in recent weeks, with Arsenal pushing him to sign.
According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Mikel Arteta has made it clear to the club’s hierarchy that he wants a reliable striker. This summer and Slovenia International are the preferred target targets for the London Club.
They are also linked to Viktor Gyoker.
Bailey said on TBR: “My belief is that Arteta has made it clear what he wants from a striker’s perspective. He has expressed his opinion on certain options and is generally pleased with who Arsenal is targeting.
“Sesko is the farthest, but it doesn’t take too much for Arsenal to detour to Gyoker, Ekitike or Watkins. But Sesko is a priority.”

It will be interesting to see if they can get trades across the line. He has established himself as one of the most talented young attackers in Europe and in football, and has the attribute to do well in the Premier League.
Aside from his ability to consistently find the back of the net, he also adds creativity and unpredictability to his Arsenal offense. The opportunity to join one of the world’s biggest clubs is exciting for young attackers. Arteta was able to play an important role in his development. The Spanish manager has done well to raise Bucayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard.
Sesko could be a different manufacturer
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can now secure an agreement with RB Leipzig. They are likely aiming to retrieve as much as possible for the younger attackers. He is a valuable outlook for them, and his departure can fund a massive reconstruction.
The 22-year-old striker scored 21 goals last season and earned six assists. He was able to help Arsenal promote the major trophies for next season. The lack of quality strikers has sincerely cost weapons in recent seasons. It can make a big difference for someone like him to lead the line for them.
