Arsenal manager Mikel Mikel Artta appears to have been seen screaming in frustration after a great save by Bucao and later Genluigi Donauma.
The Gunners boss was clearly emotional after the match, and as you can see from the touchline at Parc Des Princes, he appears to have gone through a lot.
Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the Champions League final after beating Arsenal 2-1 in the evening and winning a 3-1 tally.
Still, Arsenal had many good chances in both games, but they only found PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma in an inspired way.
At one point, Saka seemed to have found the top corner on an excellent strike, but only got a faint touch for Donnaruma to turn the ball over.
Mikel Arteta was disappointed by Gianluigi Donnambma’s “monster” performance
As Samdeen of the Telegraph below posted on X on his previous Twitter account of Arteta’s reaction to the brilliance of Italian shotstoppers…
There is no doubt that Donnarumma was a key player in PSG in both games. He also made a great save from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in the first leg and early in his second leg encounter last night.
Arteta chose Donnaruma for praise after the match, as he felt that the former AC Milan guy was the main reason PSG won.
Mikel Arteta on Gianluigi Donnammma’s performance
See below as Arteta spoke to TNT Sports after the match about Donnarumma’s save.
Although Arteta felt he was excellent overall, it wasn’t just because of his injured side this season, even if he dreamed of that famous 5-1 intensive victory over Real Madrid in the quarterfinals.
With Arsenal clearly needing final production, the club needs to sign a striker who can do better to round out his chances for future Donalumma quality keepers.
