Asaël Andoudj survived a slow onslaught from Yves Landu to secure his 10th career victory at Atlantic City’s PFL World Tournament 8.
After the opening round was completely spent on the feet, Addoudj landed a smooth takedown early in the second, quickly securing top control. Rando manages to follow his path towards the fence, but is unable to return to his feet before Bell.
Landu was able to turn the tables for the third and final round, with Addoudj returning to the mat and dropping an endless barrage of strikes on the ground. With 20 seconds left in the fight, Landu became a bit careless and left himself open due to the triangular chalk. Addoudj locked it but couldn’t tighten it, allowing Landu to survive until the last second ran from the clock.
