The two rivals were placed in the same group and had relatively determined practice schedules before the Continental Championship.

Team India’s practice schedule has been revealed ahead of the Asian Cup 2025
Indian cricket has been spinning around the 2025 Asian Cup since recently when the BCCI gave a nod to host the game in the UAE.
First, the BCCI was criticized for allowing the team to feature against Pakistan. However, the Indian government recently confirmed permission to play in a recent official statement regarding participation in international sporting events.
Despite these players performing very well recently, recent criticism was caused by the selection of Indian squads in the Asian Cup.
However, the team has revealed that it will hold its first practice session in Dubai on September 5 before the Asian Cup 2025 campaign begins on September 10th.

Pakistan’s packed schedule has been revealed ahead of Asia Cup 2025
Meanwhile, Pakistan has a very different plan than the Indian team, but has also received equal backlash against the snubs of senior cricketers Babar Azam and Mohamed Rizwan of the Asian Cup team.
They have already rescheduled a tour with Afghanistan, converted it into a series of three countries in the United Arab Emirates, cited it as preparation for the Asian Cup 2025. But likewise, for India, they announced five more practice sessions and two practice games, even before the Tri Series and Asian Cup began. The game will take place on August 22nd and 25th.
Their recent schedule remains packed with white-ball action against teams like Bangladesh and, more recently, the West Indies.
India will become the defending champion, but Pakistan is waiting for its third title since 2012
With the 2023 Asian Cup in mind, India will take part in this year’s Continental Championship as the defending champion. They were extraordinarily ahead of Sri Lanka’s side in 2023, but on the other side Sri Lanka was the 2022 edition champion, when the Asian Cup was last played in the T20I format.
For the 2025 Asian Cup, former Pakistani player Bashit Ali even identified Sri Lanka as India’s biggest opponent. However, Pakistan’s improved side is also paying attention to the Asian Cup title under new coach Mike Hesson.
