Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited is one of three Giants who have been keeping an eye on the title sponsorship of the Indian National Cricket Team after the exit of fantasy gaming platform Dream11.
This latest development confirms that the Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian National Cricket Team has no lead jersey sponsors for the Asian Cup 2025.
Dream11 breaks out of contract with BCCI
The Indian government recently passed promotions and regulations in 2025 on online gaming bills banning all forms of online money games, including fantasy sports platforms such as Dream11, My11 Circle and MPL.

The new law was passed in both Houses of Congress and received the president’s consent in August 2025. The new bill would prohibit users from participating in online games where money is deposited in the hopes of potential prizes, and platforms that violate these rules could face serious penalties in prisons, including a fine of up to three years in prison and up to one crawl.
With this legislation in place, authentic gaming platforms like Dream11 have been forced to close paid contests, and Dream Sports is currently focusing on other business ideas.
Dream11 is valued at around US$8 billion and is also supported as the title sponsor of the Indian National Cricket Team. In particular, Dream11 has won a three-year Jersey sponsorship agreement with the Indian team. This consisted of 3 Rs per home match and 1 Rs per away game.
Asia Cup 2025: Jio and two giants hurry to save Team India after Dream11 leaves ahead of the Asian Cup
There have been concerns about Team India not having a Jersey sponsor in the upcoming Asian Cup 2025, but it seems that the three companies won’t let it happen.
According to the latest report from NDTV, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, Toyota Motor Corporation and Fintech startups have expressed interest in becoming title sponsors for the Indian National Cricket Team.
The Committee for Cricket in India (BCCI) is trying to win more money from new title sponsorship transactions than it received from Dream11, and the bidding process has not yet begun. If there is a delay in the process, there is a possibility that a blue man will play the Asian Cup tournament without a lead sponsor.
The same report also claims that the jerseys of the National Cricket Team of India have prepared the Dream11 logo in advance, but it will no longer be used.
