Aston Villa leads the race at ArumbleArumble’s Journey to Professional Football

Aston Villa is enjoying an incredible season in a race that earned the best Premier League finish while preparing for the quarterfinals of the High Stakes Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain.

Determined to maintain their upward trajectory, Vil has already planned a summer transfer period, with Real Sociedaddo’s emerging right-back John Arrumble reportedly high on their wish list.

Aston Villa leads the race at Arumble

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichees, the villa is at the forefront of Venezuelan defenders’ pursuit.

The 22-year-old has been impressed by his performance in La Liga and has attracted attention from several top clubs, including Intermilan and Real Madrid and fellow Premier League side Newcastle. However, it appears that Villa is making the first concrete move to secure his signature.

Aramburu, who has been on a contract with Sociedad until 2030, has become a key player on the Spanish side, featuring in 38 matches in all competitions this season, including 23 La Liga Starts.

His rise has not been overlooked, and Villa aims to establish himself as a consistent top four club, signing players of his caliber would be a major coup.

The villa’s interest is serious, but landings in Arumble is not easy. The defender recently signed a long-term deal with Sociedad, making negotiations even more complicated.

Furthermore, with Sociedad midfield star Martin Zubimendi being heavily linked to his move to Arsenal, the Spanish club may be reluctant to lose another key player in the same transfer window.

Arumble’s Journey to Professional Football

Arumble’s journey to professional football was unconventional. Initially, FIFA regulations, which were part of Real Sociedad’s Youth Academy, forced him to return to Venezuela, where he hone his skills at Deportivo la Guaira.

He later moved to Spain and played for the real Union before rejoining Sociedaddo in 2023. His rapid rise has made him one of the most promising young defenders in La Liga.

Despite securing Andres Garcia’s signature from Levante for 7 million euros in January, Emery is still keen to further strengthen his right-back position.

Defence depth remains a priority due to Villa’s ambition to compete at the highest levels in both the Premier League and Europe.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Villa’s aggressive approach to targeting Arumble emphasizes his intention to build a team that can compete with the league’s elite.

It is yet to be seen whether they can finalize the deal, but their early pursuit shows their determination to establish themselves among top England clubs.
