Heading towards the summer transfer window, Aston Villa reportedly has now entered the race and signed a 15-goal striker alongside many Premier League rivals.

Aston Villa’s UCL hopes to be alive

With two Premier League matches remaining, Aston Villa still has hopes to compete in the Champions League. They need to slip over Chelsea, Newcastle United or Manchester City, but they have to do their job to get the chance.

Aston Villa was able to sign the ideal player for Naiping this summer

They won 1-0 after leaving Bournemouth home on Saturday night, thanks to a strike from Ollie Watkins and some heroic defending despite Jacob Ramsey’s red card.

The victory at Bournemouth means Villa put pressure on Nottingham Forest rivals, but is now poised to raid ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Newcastle, following a Man City draw in Southampton.

By competing in the Champions League, Villa quickly eased economic concerns and once again became the position to compete for some of Europe’s most interesting talents in the transfer market. And it still allowed us to see Champions League finalists heading their way to the Midlands.

Aston Villa will take part in the Goncaro Ramos race

According to catch-offside, Aston Villa took part in a busy race this summer to sign Goncaro Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain. The forward is reportedly open to leaving the French champion to win his first role elsewhere.

Portugal International, which has sparked interests from Villa, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle and shares an agent with Marco Asensio, is not at all short of suitors.

Amid recent rumours that Chelsea and others are interested in signing Ollie Watkins this summer, Ramos could possibly emerge as an ideal option for people at Villa Park.

Despite not having a consistent start at PSG, the 23-year-old showed off his quality by scoring an impressive 15 goals in all competitions, following his Champions League semi-final victory over Arsenal in the middle of the week.

According to football talent scout Jacek Kulig, after a “outrageous” start to his Portuguese career, Ramos will be eager to take over his international form to the club level this summer on a more consistent basis – Aston Villa was still able to offer him.
