Real Madrid reportedly tried to stop Gonzalo Garcia from completing his move to Sunderland this summer.
Recent reports suggest that the newly promoted Premier League side is heading out to seduce Real Madrid to sell Garcia.
The Spanish starlet was shining at the Los Blancos Club World Cup, but there remains a lot of competition for the Bernabeu location.
Garcia is believed to be valued at around 30 million euros, and Si.com reports on Madrid, which appears to be against the sale of the 21-year-old.

It seems unlikely that Sunderland will sign Garcia right now. Because he could be given a more important role on Xabi Alonso’s part in the upcoming season.
It’s definitely a big blow to Sunderland and they’re eager to bring together the strongest team possible for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
The Black Cat is reportedly locked up in a contract to sign former Arsenal midfielder Granite Zaka to Bayer Lebarkusen, and Garcia will be another great signing.
But now it appears that despite Sunderland’s best efforts, it will become impossible to realistically persuade the player to let go.
It remains to be seen whether Sunderland will be able to find a decent alternative, but to survive in the Premier League, they will need to continue to show ambition in this transfer window.
All three newly promoted teams have returned straight to last year, so there is great pressure to show that the three promoted aspects of the year have what they need to stay in the division.
