Osman Dembele drove Lamin Yamal to win the 2025 Men’s Baron de Orr, but Aitana Bonmati made history.

Dembele contributed 46 goals in all competitions in 2024-25, scoring 33 times and providing 13 assists as Paris Saint-Germain took everything before them, winning the Ligue 1, Coupede France and the Champions League.

Of these target involvement, 33 (25 goals, 8 assists) took place between January 1st and the end of the previous term.

Treble-winning PSG boss Louis Enrique had an incredible night with the European champion, who won the Johann Cruyff Trophy, the boys’ coach of the year and was also named the best club in the world.

PSG boss Luis Enrique was unable to attend as his team faced Marseille in a relocated fixture with League One Marseille and the European champion succumbed to a 1-0 defeat.

Yamal, who scored 20 goals since the start of last season and provided 23 assists in all Barca competitions, scored three times in Spain’s seven appearances in the 2024-25 Nations League, finishing second in the poll.

Dembele’s teammate Vitinha came in fourth to Liverpool’s Mohamed Sarah and third ahead of Barca forward Rafinha.

Two more PSG players, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes, finished in the top 10, with two former stars, Kylian Mbappe and Gianluigi Donnarumma, in the seventh and ninth respectively.

Meanwhile, Barcelona star Bonmati has been the first woman to win the Barondoor three times, winning the award for the third year in a row.

The 27-year-old played a key role in Barca’s victory in another league title, and also led Spain to the Euro 2025 final. She joined Lionel Messi (2010, 2011, 2012) and Michel Platini (1983, 1984 and 1985).

Bonmati voted ahead of Arsenal’s pair Mariona Caldenteti and Arecia Arsso, with second Ballon d’Or Alexia Peteras and British Euro 2025 hero Chloe Kelly in fifth place.

Yamal scooped out one of the major awards of the night as he became the first male player to win a Copa Award in consecutive years.

Yamal finished ahead of PSG duo Desire Doue and Joao Neves, saying, “It’s an honor to be here again and I would like to thank Club Barcelona and the national team as well.

Another teenage sense of Barca also won the first female Copa Trophy, with 19-year-old Vicki Lopez winning the award.

Manchester City’s new goalkeeper, Donnaruma, played a key role in the success of PSG last year, winning the men’s Yasin Trophy.

The Italian was particularly impressive in the Champions League, holding six clean sheets and conceding 14 goals in 15 games.

Hannah Hampton won the Women’s Award, when the penalty shootout heroic helped England maintain the women’s Euro crown.

The Chelsea goalkeeper has admitted just 27% of the penalties he faced in the Euro 2025 (3/11) in one edition of the Women’s World Cup or the Women’s Euro (minimum eight penalties).

Hampton’s England manager Sarina Wigman won the Johann Cruyff Trophy for her best women’s coach.

The Wiegman’s Ingland team became the second side to hold the women’s euro title after Germany.

The Dutch brought the Lioners to glory in 2022 and 2025 after lifting the trophy with the Netherlands in 2017. She became the third manager to win the competition three times.

“To win this award after a very special summer is to win an insane tournament in the Swiss Euro,” Wigman said.

“First of all, I want to thank the players, staff, the free agency and my family for their hard work, trust and unconditional support. Without you, I would not be standing here.

“Women’s matches have grown to date, they’re breaking records and I would also like to thank them for organizing Switzerland as Switzerland was absolutely crazy.

“This is not just a personal honor. I see it as a woman’s game, our journey, and a perception of where we have been.”

Arsenal shocked Barcelona to win the Women’s Champions League and was named Women’s Club of the Year.

Viktor Gyoker scored 54 goals last season in just 52 appearances for the club and country, winning the Men’s Gerd Muller Trophy.
