Bangladesh 11 vs Sri Lanka-3rd T20I, Bangladesh Tour Sri Lanka 2025:

Opener: Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon

Visitors will open the innings again with Tanjid Hasan and Pruves Hossein Emon. The duo aims to give the team a solid start in matches that determine how the series progresses.

Tanzid and Parvez were unable to form a great opening partnership for Bangladesh in most games. It was the middle order that saved Bangladesh from trouble.

If a visitor wants to increase his chances of winning a first-time series in Sri Lanka, the batter must take responsibility.

Speaking of the individual performances of both batters in the two matches he’s played so far, it’s a mix bag, with Emmon winning 50 in the first match but failing in the second.

Meanwhile, Tanzid has not yet made a significant contribution to the series and will do so in the final match.

The duo also opened up Bangladeshi batting with three ODIs, ahead of the T20I series and the first T20I.

Intermediate batters and all-arounds: Litton Das (C and WK), Towhid Hridoy, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali

After the opening pair, he showed signs of form in his final match, leading the team to the above totals after losing an early wicket.

The comeback was launched by Captain Litton Das, who was under an incredible amount of pressure before the second T20I.

The captain won a half-century attack and formed a valuable partnership with Shamim Hossaun. Shamim Hossaun provided an all-around performance so that the team could register much-needed victory.

Shamim fell short of an impressive 50, but it was one of the reasons why visitors could post a total of 177 runs on the board, proven to be enough for the team to level the series.

Aside from Das and Hossain, it was Trowhid Hridoy who played crucial innings of 31 runs and gave the team a boost in the mid-over.

Bangla team administrators hope that the batter will recreate the form they showed in the second game of the series in the upcoming matches.

Bowlers: Mohammad Saifuddin, Rishad Hossain, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman

Bangladesh’s bowling attack continued the good work the batsmen did, bowling Sri Lanka for 94 runs, leading the team to a highlighted victory.

It was a combination effort in the bowling department, where fast bowlers and spinners were cut down at key moments in the game.

That being said, it was the fast bowlers who paved the way for a famous victory by picking up wickets in the first six overs.

The trio of Shoriful, Mustafizur and Sifuddin picked up five of the team’s Sri Lankan wickets and defeated the back of the team’s batting lineup.

Visitors are expected to retain the same bowling combination for the third and final game of the series.
