Barcelona has a strong presence in vision with FC Copenhagen Wonder Kid Rooney Bardozi.
As Gianluigi Longari first reported for Sport Italia, it is my understanding that Barca is on the road of Bardghji as he continues his busy summer.
Barcelona has just announced the signature of goalkeeper João Garcia from Espanyol and remains one of the most active clubs on the market today.
Bardghji is another radar talent, attracting links with the long-time 19-year-old European elite since his breakthrough with Copenhagen.
Among the Barcelona links, what’s next for Rooney Bardozi?
It is still unclear how much Barcelona will push to get the Bardozi deal done, but the interest is there and appears to be watching for the next few weeks.
Swedish Under 21 International became Copenhagen’s youngest player ever when he first invaded his first team at the age of 16, and since then he has won the title and played in the Champions League.
Barcelona is already pursuing a move for Nico Williams to play on the left side of the front three, but Bardozi is playing on the right side, so it’s a different deal.
Bardozi really caught his eye when he scored against Manchester United in the Champions League last season.
The youngster finished quite well later in the game to secure a memorable 4-3 victory over the Red Devils for his club.
Bardghji finished 2023/24 with 10 goals in all competitions, but played very little in his next campaign as he couldn’t stop his actions due to a serious knee injury.
