In Game 3 of the National League Division Series, the Los Angeles lost 8-2 to the Philadelphia Phillies, although they defended their season at Stadium.

Harper and Alec Bohm hit back-to-back singles, and Andy Pages’ throwing error led to the second run. Brandon Marsh then hit a sacrifice fly, and the Phillies quickly built a 3-1 lead.
The had two runners out in the bottom of the fourth, but Pages popped out to end the inning. Yamamoto allowed consecutive singles in the 5th inning and ended the game early. Anthony Banda came on and ended the inning with the bases loaded.
Jack Dryer pitched a scoreless 6th inning, leaving the with one out and runners on first and second base. But as Suarez continued to dominate, Max Muncy grounded into an inning-ending double play.
Clayton Kershaw made his 2025 postseason debut in the seventh inning, but found himself in a pinch right after with a single and a walk against the top of the batting order. However, with the help of the defense, they were able to keep the innings scoreless.
The made it 1-2-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Shohei Ohtani narrowly missed a solo home run to left field but died at the warning line.
The kept Kershaw in the game in the top of the eighth inning, and the Phillies paid the price. Philadelphia tied the game up with five runs on home runs by JT Realmuto and Schwarber.
