India’s Cricket Committee (BCCI) Chief Devajit Saikia has issued an official statement on a recent report suggesting that Team India could withdraw from the upcoming ACC tournament. Saikia said there has been no discussion at any level regarding withdrawals from the ACC tournament.

According to an Indian Express report, BCCI has informed the Asian Cricket Council of its intention to break out of two tournaments, including the women’s emerging team Asia Cup. The Men’s Asian Cup is scheduled for September, with India being the designated host.
